Family Worship Workshop - An Easter Experience

Registration is for your entire family . All ages are welcome.

This is a very unique experience immersive process art experience. There will be NO play component to this workshop. Please make sure to read the entire description.

During this Easter season, make space on your calendar to spend time reflecting on the miracle of Jesus’ death & resurrection. We want to help you bring this holiday into focus by providing you and your family a creative outlet to remember why we celebrate.

We will start our time by reading the story “Easter is coming”. Once the story is over, each family will gather around their large collaborative canvas. An instructor will give you unique materials to use to paint your canvas and relate it to the Easter story. Some materials include; plastic animals, beaded necklaces, palm branches, paint rollers, fly swatters, etc. Families will have 6-10 minutes to use each new set of materials. You will get messy in the process, so dress accordingly.

We will end our time by placing each family member’s footprint somewhere on the canvas. And then we will take turns washing one of our family member’s feet, just as Jesus washed his disciples feet.

There will be worship music playing in the background during the entire creating experience.

It is sure to be an Easter experience your children will not forgot. You will have an awesome keepsake that you can display and remember your time focusing on Jesus this Easter season.

The canvas will need to dry at least 24 hours and be picked up at a later time.
